Who I work with

People come to therapy for many reasons - sometimes because they’re living with a mental health condition, sometimes because life feels overwhelming, and sometimes because something deeper is stirring that’s hard to name. You’re welcome here wherever you’re starting from.

Alongside supporting people through emotional distress, I’m especially drawn to the deeper layers of human experience: questions of identity, meaning, life transitions, and self authorship - how to live a life that feels like your own. These themes often sit below the surface of anxiety, depression, bipolar experiences, or long-standing patterns of struggle. Therapy offers a place to explore both the immediate challenges and the larger questions that shape who you are becoming.

My approach

I offer a steady, unhurried space where you can be yourself without pressure. I don’t lead or direct the process - I stay with you, attentive and grounded, so you have room to notice what’s happening inside you. The work unfolds at your pace, guided by what feels true and important for you. Over time this helps you reconnect with your own sense of direction and authorship - the ability to shape your life from the inside rather than from expectation or habit.

How psychotherapy works

Psychotherapy supports change on several levels. Talking things through is one part of it, but much of the shift happens in quieter ways - understanding your patterns, feeling less alone with what you’re carrying, and having a safe space to explore emotions that are hard to reach in everyday life. As your system settles and things become clearer, new insights and possibilities begin to take shape. This often leads to a stronger sense of autonomy and the confidence to make choices that genuinely reflect who you are.
